The Fifth, Dae, the Gelaceath and the Mariel

There are many different gods and churches dotting the world. Each race-and then some-has a unique tale about the world and how it came about. Even the once popular goddess figure has been replaced and changed to fit the ever changing populace. Despite that, there are a few principles within mythos that remain a constant throughout most cultures.

There are four prominent elements: fire, water, wind, and earth. Of these are three subtypes and a sentient race especially attuned to each. Structures, living creatures, and perhaps even thought are built around these four elements almost like DNA. Even so, there are things that fall outside the bounds of these four and remain unexplained. It is these things that are often attributed to the force aptly named the Fifth.
